Swine flu, or a variant, will happen over and over again. And because of the cytokine storm it provokes it is hard to treat it.
The evidence for the cytokine storm is that a disproportionate number of otherwise healthy people are dying of this.
One idea for dealing with it is put forward by Professor Art Ayers.

Historically, calendula was used as an antiseptic, to reduce inflammation, and to treat wounds and a variety of skin diseases.
Internally, the soothing effects of Calendula have been used for stomach ulcers and inflammation.
In the Middle Ages is was used to treat varicose veins and bedsores which were a more common problem.

Without bacteria, life on earch would not exist. They are all part of the essential cycle of life. Yes: some are annoying! But most are helpful.
For example, bacteria even support a complete eco-system in the total absence of light! Thousands of feet under the sea – at such a depth that no light can penetrate – bacteria make it possible for other micro-organisms and fish to exist.
How do these bacteria live? They use the energy derived from breaking down sulphur compounds, rather than by using oxygen. Sulphur would kill the rest of us, but these bacteria thrive.


Some proponents of Cat’s claw suggest that it is more powerful than other immune powerhouses, echinacea, golden seal or astragalus.
It does seem that Cat’s Claw is a modern elixir with suggested benefits for all aspects of intestinal problems – from Crohn’s disease to parasites; and many ailments associated with immune system deficiencies.
It is native to the Peruvian jungles where is wraps itself around trees in the rain forest.

Pau d’arco, also known as Lapacho, is an evergreen tree, native to the rain forests and mountains of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.
This impressive tree can grow to 25 feet and is the proud bearer of beautiful trumpet like flowers, but it is the inner bark which is used therapeutically.
Like the better known guarana, pau d’arco is a great find by our South American herbal cousins.
